About the shop
Tring shoe repairs originally
opened in 1985, in the quaint english market town of Tring. After the retirement of the previous owner, Dan Watkins took on the shop and has been the owner for the past 8 years. Dan has been a cobbler for the past 25 years so knows a thing or two about high quality traditional shoe repairs.
If you're here then there's a chance you've seen our YouTube channel which we're glad to say has been a huge success, and you'll have seen that we do traditional shoe repairs, as well as take on bold projects and up market jobs. We do small repairs to fit a budget and premium repairs for high end footwear.
The Building Itself...
The shop itself is one of the easy on the eye victorian buildings that adorns
the main high street in Tring, its a grade 2 listed building and over 200 years old. The old brick work, old fashioned windows, and our mechanical puppet cobbler George in the window are all part of what give the shop it's charm.
